You are not here to follow a straight path. You are here to revisit, to remember, to reawaken what Tarot already knows within you.
Tarot Through the Spiral is a self-paced journey for those ready to go deeper. This is more than learning card meanings—it's about pattern recognition, intuitive storytelling, and honoring your own lived wisdom.Whether you're rekindling your practice or meeting the cards for the first time in a long time, this space is here to guide you inward. The spiral welcomes you.

An Initiatory Journey of Remembering Through the Cards

Through 8 Turns, you'll explore the cards not just as symbols, but as spirits, stories, and sacred rhythms. Rooted in ancestral cosmology and intuitive knowing, each Turn invites you into deeper relationship with tarot as a living language and mirror of your soul’s unfolding.

Begin at the threshold with a sacred invocation template and explore the foundational language of tarot through numerology and elemental wisdom. This Turn lays the groundwork for seeing tarot not as a rigid system, but a fluid current we attune to through the elements, numbers, and suits.

We spiral through the Major Arcana in reverse—from The Universe to The Emerging One (Fool). This path mirrors life’s cycles, where endings give birth to new beginnings. The Major Arcana becomes a reflection of our spiritual journey, a set of energies we continually revisit.

Enter the Elemental Kingdoms with Water (Gourds) and Fire (Staffs). Water governs intuition, emotion, and spiritual flow, while Fire reignites our passions and creative will. These two Kingdoms govern our soul’s longings and our spiritual drive—guiding us on our path to divine alignment.

Earth (Coins) and Air (Blades) govern the physical and mental realms. Earth teaches us how to ground and create, while Air sharpens our perception and communication. These suits show how we build our lives and refine our thoughts—teaching us that body and mind are interconnected in the process of transformation.

The Spiral Temple introduces Bantu-Kongo cosmology and the sacred Kalunga Line. These ancient systems guide our understanding of the spiral journey, where time, spirit, and life intersect. Through this Turn, we reclaim tarot as a tool rooted in ancestral wisdom, giving us a grounded yet expansive map of our spiritual journey.

Revisit the Major Arcana as living forces within the spiral. These archetypes are not static figures but energies that evolve, repeat, and move through us as we journey through life. This Turn encourages you to see each card as an initiatory experience that reflects the cyclical nature of existence.

The Minor Arcana becomes “The Rhythms”—the daily frequencies of spirit, mind, and body. Each suit pulses along the Kalunga Line, reflecting the ebb and flow of our inner and outer worlds. This Turn reveals how the Minor Arcana serves as the sacred rhythms we live within every day.

The Court Cards—Lil’, Youngin, Mama, and Papa—are reflections of our evolving self and our community roles. They are not static labels but faces we encounter in our lineage, spiritual growth, and personal evolution. This Turn invites you to see how these figures serve as guides and mirrors for your own transformation.

TURN 3: Kingdoms of Fire & Water

The Gourds & Staffs

In this Turn, we enter the Elemental Kingdoms of Water and Fire—the realms of soul and spirit. Through the suit of Gourds, we explore emotional depth, purification, and the ancestral wisdom carried in each vessel. In the Kingdom of Fire, we witness the alchemy of creativity, conflict, and spiritual momentum. This is a journey of integration: learning to hold heat and fluidity, passion and presence, without spilling over.By the end of this Turn, you will be able to:

Blades challenge and refine us through thought, truth, and the unseen edges of awareness. Together, these suits help us examine how we build, protect, and cut away—revealing what we stand on, and what must shift.By the end of this Turn, you will be able to:

TURN 5: Spiral Temple

Secrets of the Spiral Tarot Cosmogram

In Turn Five, we step into the Spiral Temple—the sacred architecture that roots this journey in cosmology and memory. Drawing from Bantu-Kongo wisdom and the Spiral Tarot Cosmogram, we begin mapping the tarot not just as a divination tool, but as a reflection of spiritual infrastructure. This is where myth, map, and mysticism converge to form the foundation of the spiral path.By the end of this Turn, you will be able to:

  • Understand the foundational symbols and structure of the Spiral Tarot Cosmogram

  • Begin contextualizing tarot within West-Central African cosmological frameworks

  • Explore the relationship between time, memory, and the spiral in spiritual practice

  • Reimagine tarot as a sacred system rooted in lineage, place, and multidimensional movement

TURN 6: Spiral Temple

Secrets of the Spiral Tarot Cosmogram

In this Turn, we descend deeper into the Spiral Temple, tracing the Major Arcana through the spiral itself. No longer seen as a straight line, each archetype becomes a turning point—a place of activation, interruption, or re-emergence. Here, we begin to map the spiral through lived experience, understanding how the cards echo our own movements through change, choice, and initiation.By the end of this Turn, you will be able to:

  • Identify how the Major Arcana flows within the spiral rather than a linear sequence

  • Recognize key archetypes as energetic thresholds within the Spiral Cosmogram

  • Explore how memory, myth, and choice shape your relationship to the majors

  • Deepen your capacity to read the cards as multidimensional moments in a cyclical journey

TURN 7: Spiral Temple - The Rhythms

Rhythms of the Minors

This Turn brings us into the Kalunga line—the sacred threshold between the visible and invisible, life and afterlife, seen and felt. Here, the Minor Arcana reveals its deeper rhythm, not as isolated suits but as movements across a spiral of becoming. Each number becomes a step, each element a pulse. We explore how these rhythms mark our passage through growth, tension, return, and release.By the end of this Turn, you will be able to:

  • Understand the Kalunga line as a spiritual threshold in West-Central African cosmology

  • Recognize the Minor Arcana as a rhythmic map of human and energetic experience

  • Trace how elemental and numerical patterns evolve across suits

  • Expand your interpretation of the minors as relational, cyclical, and spiritually encoded

TURN 8: Spiral Temple - The Faces

Meet the Court

In this final Turn, we enter the spiral within the spiral—the realm of the court cards, or what we call the Faces. Each figure is more than a personality; they are embodiments of elemental intelligence, memory holders, and ancestral echoes. By mapping them through the spiral, we uncover how these archetypes move, speak, and mirror our own evolution through relationship, responsibility, and return.By the end of this Turn, you will be able to:

  • Identify each court card as a “Face” with its own spiral trajectory

  • Understand the court cards as roles, intelligences, and energetic postures

  • Map their movements across element, direction, and position within the cosmogram

  • Deepen your readings by integrating the courts as dynamic, ancestral forces within the tarot
